When ordering a whole beef share about half the weight will be in ground beef and the other half will be in steaks and roasts. Steaks have 2 in each package and are cut at 1" thick. Roasts are packaged in weights of 3-5 pounds each. Ground beef is 1 pound per package. A whole beef is a total of 360 pounds of meat. All meat has a 14 day dry age and placed in vacuum sealed packaging. Our beef is processed by a USDA inspected butcher and frozen solid.

The minimum size freezer we recommend for a whole beef order is 16 cubic feet. But if you have anything else you want to store in the freezer a 17-21 cubic foot freezer would be ideal.
