Our Story

In the mountains of Southern Utah nestled in its own little valley called “Grassy Flats” our story begins with ancestors who moved from Scotland and homesteaded our family ranch in 1875. Because of their hard work and dedication over 145 years later we have the opportunity to continue their legacy of producing high quality grass-fed beef. 

We are the 4th generation to work Grassy Flat Ranch. Our dream is to continue in the traditions of our ancestors and raise our family on the land just as we were. We have been met with many challenges along the way. Ranching isn’t easy, but our determination to keep the family ranch for the future generations has helped us to be creative.

We want to share our passion for quality grass-finished beef with you!  So we've started selling our meat direct to our customers giving them a fresh, quality product produced by someone they can trust. We know we have a healthy, great tasting product and want to make it available to others.

We are on a journey to find people who, like us, are passionate about putting quality food into their bodies. We are so excited to be able to offer the beef we love to people who will appreciate the work and care that goes into it.
