Welcome to Grassy Flat Ranch

We are the Grays, a 4th generation ranch family. Our ranch is located in the Pine Valley mountains of Southern Utah nestled in its own little valley called Grassy Flats. Our family has been raising cattle for over 145 years. We are working to preserve the ranch and the legacy of our ancestors for future generations by offering our grass-finished beef direct to consumer. We want to share this journey with you.

We love Grassy Flat's grass-fed beef! We have purchased it for three years now and have been consistently happy. The meat is lean and flavorful and perfectly trimmed so you aren't paying for a lot of extra fat. With store-bought meat, I used to drain lots of excess fat from hamburger. I usually request a lot of roasts because they have become a family favorite. I get so many compliments that I know are owed to the meat I'm using.

We are lucky enough to live in the same area as Matt and Paige and everyday we see how hardworking this couple and their little boys are and how well they treat their animals. Grass-finished beef is packed with flavor and is healthy too! Beef from grass-fed cattle is low in total fat content, and high in omega 3s, and Vitamin E. Our cattle are grass-fed their entire life, a process that takes longer to get to the finished product but provides a premium product with a superior taste.
